MV Mosaic Collection Sparkling Meslier Brut Rosé
This has to be one of the most beautiful bottles on the market. Featuring the greyhound necklace, this pays homage to Jo Irvine's love of greyhounds and her work in rescuing these beautiful creatures. The grapes are specially grown in the Adelaide Hills and matured for 24months prior to bottling. It is matured for a further 12months in the bottle before it is released to you. It's bubbles baby! This goes with every cheese!
2017 Art Collection Chardonnay
A great chardonnay with a few years on it gives this wine far more character than a "store-bought" one. Plucked from the elevated regions of Eden Valley, serve this cool with a pizza topped with smoked salmon and capers. Deeeelish!
2016 Mosaic Collection Sorter Pinot Gris
This is a real treat! Jo Irvine completely blew the budget to make this one by buying some of the finest French oak barrels. We're so glad she did because they result is bang-on brilliant. Spending 12months on lees and then 14months in new and second-use French oak barrels before release, this wine is luxury, texture and fullness all rolled up into convenient little sips. Each this with pears and blue cheese and you won't go wrong.
MV Mosiac Collection Mistelle Fortified Semillon
The era of ports and dessert wines is making a resurgence as winemakers, like Jo Irvine, create specimens that are in touch with the modern palette. This thing is delicious and light. The grapes are only partially fermented then fortified with spirit. From there it gets aged for 9 years in French barrels and bottled 12months prior to release. Seriously... Who has that patience? Serve chilled with your cheese board at the end of a great meal and simply lean back and enjoy the company.
